Marketing Program Head (Remote)

Our Marketing Program Heads are creative, outgoing marketing gurus who understand the quirks and culture of their college town. Marketing Program Heads are empowered to lead their school’s Abuzz Team, one that emphasizes experiences and community over a more traditional corporate ambassador program structure. Working collaboratively with their school’s Experiential Marketers and Digital Media Team, Program Heads coordinate marketing and social campaigns while fostering a team identity focused on content, exposure, college culture and doing cool shit. Program Heads will gain lasting, marketable skills in team management, digital content, sponsored events, and B2B partnerships with the opportunity to have real influence on future enhancements and feature releases. We’re seeking highly motivated students with a strong ambition and entrepreneurial spirit to join us at a time of exciting company expansion!

Job responsibilities:

  • Work remotely to execute marketing campaigns and expand awareness in your college town while collaborating with the Abuzz team in Charleston, SC.
  • Manage your school’s admin dashboard to curate Abuzz in-app content such as partner promotions, events, and push-notifications.
  • Oversee and work collaboratively with your school’s Experiential Marketing Team to execute Abuzz social concepts involving partner promotions, local events, and other fun, random shit.
  • Lead your school’s Digital Media Team to facilitate in-app content creation, sponsored events, and club/student org outreach.
  • Foster ongoing relationships with current partners and develop relationships with new local businesses.

Digital Strategy Team (Remote)

Our Digital Strategy Interns are a highly exclusive team of strategists, marketers, and brilliant minds from across the country. These interns are granted ownership of their school’s Abuzz platform to curate content, utilize engagement tools, and cultivate community in their college town. They’re experts on their college’s quirks and culture. They know the ins-and-outs of their college town, and leverage their network and knowledge to connect with student orgs and foster relationships with local Abuzz partners. The Digital Strategist team works collaboratively to execute marketing initiatives, create sponsored events, and maintain a flourishing, engaging, student-driven platform.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with your Digital Strategist Team and Program Head to spread overall awareness of the Abuzz community.
  • Conceptualize and create ongoing, dynamic content on Abuzz that captures what life looks like at your school, sparks conversation, and engages students to live their college lives to the fullest.
  • Foster ongoing relationships with current partners while developing new relationships with local businesses and content providers.
  • Assist in setting up sponsored events with clubs, Greek chapters, and student orgs aimed at increased adoption and brand awareness.
  • Pitch ideas and opportunities to clubs, Greek chapters, and student orgs to introduce a relationship with Abuzz
  • Utilize referral opportunities to grow the presence of Abuzz and student user-base at your campus.
  • Work collaboratively with your Digital Strategist Team and Program Head to execute marketing initiatives and drive traffic to your college’s Abuzz platform.
